Terry Drabant is CEO and President of the JVax Investment Group. Prior to the formation of JVax IG, LLC, he was a Lockheed Martin Corporate Vice President and President, Lockheed Martin Mission Systems. This was a $1B systems integration company within Lockheed Martin that was responsible for contracts and proposals relating to information security, physical security, information superiority, network centric warfare and command and control.
Previously, Terry was vice president and general manager of IBM Federal Systems and president, Loral Federal Systems. Terry holds a B.S. degree in Engineering Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he continues to lecture, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the Department of Defense Systems Management School Program Management Course, a graduate of the UCLA Modern Engineering Program and Fellow of the MIT Seminar XXI (Foreign Policies and the National Interest).
Terry is currently Chairman of the Board of Azul Systems Inc., a member of the Board of VidSys Inc., is a member of the University of Maryland College of Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics Board of Visitors and is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the USAFA Endowment, Inc.
Tim Hansen is Vice-President for Medical Business, JVax Investment Group, focusing on later-stage medical devices and diagnostics with an emphasis on early International distribution. Prior to joining JVax in 2008 he was CEO of Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc., a development stage public company specializing in breast cancer optical imaging.
Prior to IDSI, he was the senior executive of Inovision a private company devoted to radiation test and measurement instruments and services; he was instrumental in selling the company to Mallinckrodt, Syncor, Cardinal Health and Danaher. Earlier, Tim was President of Picker Medical Systems, a multimodality imaging company of international scope. While at Picker he acquired numerous imaging technology and service related businesses and formed many joint development programs in his 20 year tenure. He also held senior sales and marketing roles at General Electric Medical Systems and Smith Kline Instruments. Tim has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
